Just kidding, I can’t stand pumpkin spice! But I do love being festive. Just without that ridiculous pumpkin spice flavor. Real short post today. I did some quick shopping at the Dollar Tree and wanted to share some of my treasure finds. I didn’t realize they have clearance days! What? Heck yeah, they do! I stopped in there for a couple of other items and scored some half price Thanksgiving décor. I mixed my old and new and it turned out cute. I didn’t really have much for this holiday. Mainly because I am a Halloween and Christmas freak. Thanksgiving is the forgotten holiday of giving thanks. I am making more of an effort to be thankful for what we have. Not dwell on what we don’t have.
Moral of this story? It doesn’t take a lot of money to be festive. But festive makes people happy. It’s cozy. It’s fun. It can brighten someone’s day. And I want to do those things for my family and anyone that stops over. We can all use some festive. And we can all give some gratitude. A little goes a long way people.
